Anunciado em julho de 2019, o ve\u00edculo ainda est\u00e1 em desenvolvimento.<br>O carro fez sua estreia nas pistas durante a Goodwood SpeedWeek, evento realizado no circuito de Goodwood em Chichester, West Sussex, no sul da Inglaterra. A primeira pessoa a experimentar o Evija, al\u00e9m dos engenheiros da Lotus, foi William Rupert Charles Gordon-Lennox, que carrega o t\u00edtulo de Lord March. Seu pai, o Duque de Richmond, organizou o evento e \u00e9 propriet\u00e1rio do local.<br>Sobre a experi\u00eancia, March comentou &#8220;o Evija \u00e9 inacredit\u00e1vel. O poder, a velocidade, nunca experimentei nada como ele \u2014 foi excepcional. Este novo despertar dos hipercarros el\u00e9tricos traz o topo do automobilismo para para nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o e uma audi\u00eancia mais jovem.<br>Avaliado em quase 12 milh\u00f5es de Reais (US$ 2,1 milh\u00f5es), o Evija tem quatro motores el\u00e9tricos que juntos tem pot\u00eancia de 1.972 hp. Ele pode ir de 0 a 100 km\/h em menos de tr\u00eas segundos, e chega a 300 km\/h em menos de nove segundos. Sua velocidade m\u00e1xima \u00e9 de 320 km\/h, com autonomia de 402 km com uma carga da baterias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lotus Evija at Goodwood Speedweek\" width=\"660\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KcU3RSa0hK8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Com um carregador de 350 kW o Evija pode carregar suas baterias a 80% em 12 minutos, e atingir 100% de carga em 18 minutos. Entretanto, a Lotus afirma que um carregador de 800 kW, que ainda n\u00e3o est\u00e1 comercialmente dispon\u00edvel, seria capaz de dar ao carro uma carga completa em apenas 9 minutos.<br>Como todo bom supercarro el\u00e9trico, o Evija traz luxos como portas que n\u00e3o possuem puxadores e s\u00f3 s\u00e3o abertas atrav\u00e9s da chave ou de um bot\u00e3o no interior do teto. Os assentos e volantes s\u00e3o forrados por tecido Alcantara.
