Atualmente, qualquer modelo da marca possui uma vers\u00e3o h\u00edbrida, por exemplo.<br>Segundo a companhia, o intuito \u00e9 reduzir a pegada de carbono do ciclo de vida por carro, o que \u00e9 uma forte demanda de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil e institui\u00e7\u00f5es comprometidas em reverter a crise clim\u00e1tica.<br>\u201cN\u00e3o h\u00e1 futuro a longo prazo para carros com motor de combust\u00e3o interna\u201d, afirma Henrik Green, vice-presidente s\u00eanior de tecnologia da Volvo Cars. \u201cEstamos firmemente comprometidos em nos tornarmos um fabricante de carros exclusivamente el\u00e9tricos e a transi\u00e7\u00e3o deve acontecer at\u00e9 2030. Isso nos permitir\u00e1 atender \u00e0s expectativas de nossos clientes e ser parte da solu\u00e7\u00e3o para combater as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas\u201d.<br>Mas, o ponto central \u00e9 que a empresa prev\u00ea a redu\u00e7\u00e3o dr\u00e1stica do mercado de carros com motor de combust\u00e3o e, portanto, de seus lucros.
