Ap\u00f3s ficar famoso pedindo “socorro” em uma \u00e1rvore de Jardim da Penha, o papagaio ganhou um lar na manh\u00e3 desta segunda-feira (26). O Servi\u00e7o de Resgate de Animais Silvestres levou o animal para o Centro de Triagem de Animais Silvestres (Cetas), em Barcelona, na Serra, onde ele ter\u00e1 casa, comida e cuidados especializados.
Uma moradora do bairro conseguiu se aproximar da ave, oferecendo alimentos e \u00e1gua, e acionou o servi\u00e7o, que \u00e9 mantido pela Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente (Semmam). “O papagaio estava bem e vai ficar ainda melhor aos cuidados que receber\u00e1 daqui para a frente. Esse resgate ganha ainda mais import\u00e2ncia por tratar-se de um animal que n\u00e3o tem anilha, ou seja, n\u00e3o tem registro, \u00e9 fruto do com\u00e9rcio ilegal de animais silvestres”, diz o bi\u00f3logo Saulo Ramos, da Semmam.
H\u00e1 cerca de 10 dias, o papagaio come\u00e7ou a fazer moradia sobre as copas das \u00e1rvores de Jardim da Penha. Ele interagia de longe com os moradores, que faziam fotos e v\u00eddeos dele e perceberam que ele repetia a palavra “socorro”, causando como\u00e7\u00e3o. Como estava em boas condi\u00e7\u00f5es de sa\u00fade, ele conseguiu fugir das tentativas anteriores de resgate. “Desta vez, com o tempo, a moradora ganhou a confian\u00e7a dele, o que possibilitou a captura”, explica Saulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span><\/strong>O secret\u00e1rio de Meio Ambiente, Tarc\u00edsio F\u00f6eger, explica que nem todo animal silvestre precisa ser recolhido. “Vit\u00f3ria \u00e9 uma cidade que possui muitas \u00e1reas verdes, e \u00e9 comum encontrarmos animais silvestres no espa\u00e7o urbano. O recolhimento s\u00f3 \u00e9 recomendado se o bicho apresenta risco para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o ou se est\u00e1 ferido ou precisando de cuidados”, diz.
Para quem encontrar um animal silvestre fora do seu habitat natural, a Semmam orienta ligar imediatamente para o servi\u00e7o, seguir as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es e aguardar o profissional fazer o recolhimento.
O animal ser\u00e1 avaliado e poder\u00e1 ser reintroduzido diretamente \u00e0 natureza, em um dos parques naturais de Vit\u00f3ria, ou levado ao Ipran, em Cariacica, ou para o Centro de Triagem de Animais Silvestres (Cetas), em Barcelona, na Serra.
