Entre os dias 5 e 18 de agosto, o Belas \u00c0 La Carte<\/em> exibe com exclusividade o festival \u201cO Nov\u00edssimo Cinema da Para\u00edba\u201d<\/strong>. A mostra, composta por sete longas e dezessete curtas-metragens, leva aos assinantes e n\u00e3o assinantes do streaming o que h\u00e1 de melhor na produ\u00e7\u00e3o cinematogr\u00e1fica recente do estado. Al\u00e9m da programa\u00e7\u00e3o de filmes, haver\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m conversas e debates sobre as produ\u00e7\u00f5es e sobre o mercado de cinema do estado.
O festival tem in\u00edcio em uma data importante: no dia 5 de agosto \u00e9 celebrada a funda\u00e7\u00e3o da Para\u00edba. Segundo Paulo Roberto, curador da Mostra, as produ\u00e7\u00f5es paraibanas derivam da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da classe trabalhadora do cinema local, que conquistou os meios de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e agora colhe os seus frutos. “S\u00e3o filmes de curta e longa-metragem, que, por meio de document\u00e1rios e fic\u00e7\u00f5es, convidam a descobrir as diversas Parahybas desse Estado alicer\u00e7ado na sua cultura marcante e multifacetada\u201d, explica.
Entre os destaques do festival est\u00e3o dois filmes in\u00e9ditos: o longa \u201cA rep\u00fablica da selva\u201d, de Manoel Fernandes Neto, que retrata uma rep\u00fablica de estudantes localizada no litoral da Para\u00edba, meses ap\u00f3s o impeachment da presidente Dilma Rousseff; e o curta \u201cCabidela’s bar\u201d, de Tadeu de Brito.
Outros destaques s\u00e3o os filmes premiados como \u201cSol alegria\u201d, de Tavinho Teixeira e Mariah Teixeira; \u201cRebento\u201d, de Andr\u00e9 Morais; e \u201cFaixa de Gaza\u201d, com Marc\u00e9lia Cartaxo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
