O avan\u00e7o foi publicado no \u00faltimo s\u00e1bado (1) na revista cient\u00edfica\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41380-021-01399-1#article-info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em><strong>Molecular Psychiatry<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<br>Segundo a pesquisa, o biomarcador pode ajudar a comprovar a efic\u00e1cia de <a href=\"http:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/10\/3-adolescentes-desenvolveram-sintomas-psiquiatricos-graves-apos-covid-19.html\"><strong>m<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/10\/3-adolescentes-desenvolveram-sintomas-psiquiatricos-graves-apos-covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>edicamentos psiqui\u00e1tricos<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0no tratamento de pacientes com a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Sociedade\/Historia\/noticia\/2021\/10\/7-figuras-historicas-que-sofreram-de-depressao-e-ansiedade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>doen\u00e7a<\/strong><\/a>. O estudo \u00e9 realizado por pesquisadores de institui\u00e7\u00f5es norte-americanas, como a Universidade de Illinois e a Universidade de Utah.<br>A equipe se baseou em pesquisas anteriores feitas em animais e seres humanos, que indicaram que, quando estamos <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/10\/mulheres-e-jovens-sao-mais-afetados-por-depressao-e-ansiedade-na-pandemia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deprimidos<\/a>,<\/strong> ocorre a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da adenilil ciclase. Essa mol\u00e9cula \u00e9 produzida por neurotransmissores como a serotonina e a adrenalina, que regulam o humor.<br>Na depress\u00e3o, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o da mol\u00e9cula cai pois a prote\u00edna Gs alfa, que permite os neurotransmissores fabricarem a adenilil ciclase, fica presa em uma matriz rica em <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/12\/gordura-vegetal-pode-diminuir-o-risco-de-avc-sugere-estudo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">colesterol<\/a><\/strong> na membrana celular. \u00c9 como ela se tivesse \u201cnavegando em jangadas\u201d de lip\u00eddios.<br>O estudo identifica nas plaquetas humanas o biomarcador para essa jornada de transloca\u00e7\u00e3o da Gs alfa nas \u201cjangadas\u201d. Eles esperam usar exames de sangue para mostrar se a prote\u00edna est\u00e1 ou n\u00e3o nas &#8220;balsas&#8221;. Assim, os exames possivelmente poder\u00e3o indicar se os <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Um-So-Planeta\/noticia\/2021\/06\/lagostins-contaminados-por-antidepressivos-assumem-comportamento-arriscado.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">antidepressivos<\/a><\/strong> est\u00e3o funcionando cerca de uma semana ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio do tratamento.<br>Evid\u00eancias anteriores mostraram que os pacientes com uma melhora nos sistemas de depress\u00e3o tinham a Gs alfa fora das \u201cjangadas de lip\u00eddeos\u201d. Naqueles em tratamento com antidepressivos, mas ainda com sintomas, a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/12\/proteinas-de-tubaroes-podem-neutralizar-sars-cov-2-indica-estudo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prote\u00edna<\/a><\/strong> ainda ficava presa nesse trajeto.<br>&#8220;Como as plaquetas acabam em uma semana, voc\u00ea veria uma mudan\u00e7a nas pessoas que iriam melhorar\u201d, conta Mark Rasenick, l\u00edder do estudo, em <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/news\/2022-01-biomarker-depression-antidepressant-response.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comunicado<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cVoc\u00ea seria capaz de ver o biomarcador que deveria pressagiar um tratamento bem-sucedido\u201d.<br>M\u00e9dicos e <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revistagalileu.globo.com\/Ciencia\/Saude\/noticia\/2021\/12\/brasileiros-transplantam-coracao-em-paciente-de-31-anos-apos-covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pacientes<\/a><\/strong> aguardam v\u00e1rias semanas, \u00e0s vezes meses, para saber se antidepressivos est\u00e3o funcionando. Cerca de 30% das pessoas n\u00e3o melhoram, segundo Rasenick, o que faz com que se presuma que muitas vezes nada ir\u00e1 funcionar.<br>Mas h\u00e1 muitas falhas de diagn\u00f3stico. \u201cA maior parte da depress\u00e3o \u00e9 diagnosticada em consult\u00f3rios m\u00e9dicos de cuidados prim\u00e1rios, onde n\u00e3o existe um rastreio sofisticado\u201d, explica o cientista.
