A mulher tem uma <a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/tag\/doenca-neurodegenerativa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">doen\u00e7a neurodegenerativa<\/a>\u00a0que afeta diversas partes do\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/tag\/sistema-nervoso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sistema nervoso<\/a>. \u00a0<br>De acordo com o estudo publicado pelo The New England Journal of Medicine, o implante eletr\u00f4nico reativou os nervos presentes na medula espinhal. Este tipo de implante j\u00e1 havia sido utilizado para tratar a press\u00e3o arterial baixa de <a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/tag\/pacientes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pacientes<\/a> tetrapl\u00e9gicos.<br>A MAS-P causa uma perda dos <a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/tag\/neuronios\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">neur\u00f4nios<\/a> que regulam a press\u00e3o arterial, fazendo ela diminuir quando os doentes ficam em p\u00e9, podendo causar desmaio. O quadro \u00e9 conhecido como hipotens\u00e3o ortost\u00e1tica. Com o implante, os neur\u00f4nios que regulam a press\u00e3o arterial foram reativados e a paciente passou a n\u00e3o mais perder a consci\u00eancia ao ficar em p\u00e9. Ap\u00f3s 18 meses deitada, a mulher conseguiu andar at\u00e9 250 metros com a ajuda de fisioterapia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jornalfatosenoticias.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/logo_esteio.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1214\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">\u201cJ\u00e1 vimos como este tipo de tratamento pode ser aplicado em pacientes com les\u00f5es medulares.
