O esp\u00e9cime \u00e9 uma f\u00eamea, que recebeu o nome de M\u00e3hina (\u201clua\u201d em tongan\u00eas). O encontro foi capturado pelo fot\u00f3grafo subaqu\u00e1tico Jono Allen. Mas chances de ver um exemplar completamente branco s\u00e3o extremamente baixas. Fato esse que torna esse encontro casual um evento ainda mais raro. Segundo os pesquisadores, a distinta colora\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser reflexo de um caso de albinismo ou leucismo. O albinismo \u00e9 uma anomalia gen\u00e9tica marcada pela aus\u00eancia completa de melanina, um pigmento natural do corpo que fornece cor \u00e0 pele. Isso porque, geralmente, \u00e9 mais comum que os animais com albinismo apresentem olhos de tonalidade vermelha ou rosa. No post, os mergulhadores ainda expressam preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao bem-estar do filhote.
