Experimentos com\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/2024\/06\/14\/ciencia-e-espaco\/quais-sao-os-5-maiores-primatas-do-mundo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>macacos<\/strong><\/a> mostram que isso acontece porque h\u00e1 uma queda na atividade dos neur\u00f4nios que preparam para o movimento.<br>Curioso a respeito dessa rela\u00e7\u00e3o, o neurocientista da Universidade de Pittsburgh Steven Chase foi pesquisar por que h\u00e1 queda de desempenho sob press\u00e3o, diz artigo da <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/d41586-024-02956-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nature<\/a>.<\/strong> Para avaliar como a press\u00e3o est\u00e1 relacionada com a queda de desempenho, Chase e colegas montaram uma tarefa de computador para macacos<em> rhesus<\/em>. Quando a recompensa era maior, a atividade dos <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/olhardigital.com.br\/tag\/neuronio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">neur\u00f4nios<\/a><\/strong> associada \u00e0 prepara\u00e7\u00e3o motor diminu\u00eda. Mas, se a recompensa continua a crescer, esse pico \u00e9 ultrapassado e tira o c\u00e9rebro de sua zona ideal de desempenho.
