Essa foi a primeira vez que cientistas fizeram uma descoberta do tipo. Um estudo sobre o achado foi publicado na revista Science Advances.<br>O Arthropleura era um artr\u00f3pode do tamanho de um autom\u00f3vel, com comprimentos que podiam alcan\u00e7ar quase tr\u00eas metros e peso superior a 45 quilos.
