Em seu terceiro ano seguido de contas no vermelho, a Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Tel\u00e9grafos (ECT) corre risco de despejo em 200 im\u00f3veis alugados pela estatal por falta de pagamento. S\u00e3o 122 im\u00f3veis com a\u00e7\u00e3o em andamento que podem ser executadas desde 30 de novembro. H\u00e1 outros 127 contratos com prazo a vencer at\u00e9 o fim do ano.
Entre os im\u00f3veis em risco, h\u00e1 206 ag\u00eancias dos Correios, 34 centros de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o domiciliar, tr\u00eas centros de tratamento de cartas e encomendas e um centro de encomendas. Notificada, a estatal decretou em outubro um teto de gastos para o ano de R$ 21,96 bilh\u00f5es e determinou que renova\u00e7\u00f5es de contratos s\u00f3 poderiam ser feitas a partir da economia gerada na negocia\u00e7\u00e3o de outros im\u00f3veis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diretoria pediu para redirecionar R$ 1,5 bilh\u00e3o do aluguel de um centro de tratamento de cartas e encomendas em Contagem (MG), interditado em outubro, para renovar os contratos. A medida n\u00e3o surtiu efeito. A justificativa dos Correios para a interdi\u00e7\u00e3o foi um problema de estrutura. Mas o propriet\u00e1rio, o fundo de investimentos TRBL11, n\u00e3o reconheceu o problema e cobrou laudos t\u00e9cnicos. Na sexta-feira (6), a Defesa Civil do munic\u00edpio de Contagem liberou o uso do galp\u00e3o pela estatal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O documento de notifica\u00e7\u00e3o mostra que, no fim de outubro, os Correios tinham d\u00edvidas de R$ 9,5 milh\u00f5es com pagamentos atrasados de condom\u00ednio e IPTU, al\u00e9m de demandas judiciais e TCDs (reconhecimento de d\u00edvidas). O preju\u00edzo da estatal, de janeiro a setembro, foi de R$ 2 bilh\u00f5es, o maior da gest\u00e3o Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva. A estatal alegou frustra\u00e7\u00e3o de receitas pela heran\u00e7a cont\u00e1bil do governo anterior e a \u201ctaxa das blusinhas\u201d. Os Correios tiveram menos encomendas para despachar para endere\u00e7os no Brasil e a receita, por consequ\u00eancia, caiu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A receita projetada para 2024 foi reduzida de R$ 22,7 bilh\u00f5es para R$ 20,1 bilh\u00f5es, o que representa um crescimento de 1,5% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2023. As medidas administrativas adotadas reduziram a proje\u00e7\u00e3o de despesa de R$ 22,5 bilh\u00f5es para R$ 21,9 bilh\u00f5es, representando uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 1,8% (R$ 600 milh\u00f5es) em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2023\u201d, disseram os Correios em documento enviado ao site Poder 360.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Empresa teve lucro sob Temer e Bolsonaro
<\/span><\/strong>Apesar da diretoria dos Correios atribuir parte do preju\u00edzo atual \u00e0 gest\u00e3o do governo anterior, a empresa teve lucro em tr\u00eas dos quatro anos da gest\u00e3o Jair Bolsonaro (PL). A empresa foi lucrativa at\u00e9 2013, na gest\u00e3o de Dilma Rousseff (PT), quando registrou o primeiro preju\u00edzo desde pelo menos o in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo. A perda naquele ano foi de R$ 213 milh\u00f5es, seguida de outra de pouco mais de R$ 20 milh\u00f5es em 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os preju\u00edzos dispararam em seguida, somando R$ 2,1 bilh\u00f5es em 2015, recorde hist\u00f3rico, alavancado por problemas de gest\u00e3o, gastos com pessoal, congelamento de tarifas e pela mudan\u00e7a na contabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o das obriga\u00e7\u00f5es com o chamado benef\u00edcio p\u00f3s-emprego, ou seja, as despesas com planos de previd\u00eancia privada. Somado com o ano de 2016, \u00faltimo do governo Dilma, os preju\u00edzos somam R$ 3,5 bilh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A partir de 2017, por outro lado, os Correios emendaram cinco anos seguidos de lucro, durante as gest\u00f5es de Michel Temer (MDB) e Bolsonaro. No per\u00edodo, os ganhos da estatal somaram quase R$ 4 bilh\u00f5es. O melhor resultado da estatal na hist\u00f3ria foi registrado em 2021, com lucro de R$ 2,3 bilh\u00f5es, alcan\u00e7ado em meio a programas de demiss\u00e3o volunt\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na \u00e9poca, os funcion\u00e1rios somavam 115 mil em todo o pa\u00eds. Hoje s\u00e3o aproximadamente 88 mil, o que ainda mant\u00e9m a estatal como uma das que mais empregam no territ\u00f3rio nacional. Apesar do rombo em 2024, os Correios abriram concurso p\u00fablico para contratar 3.511 funcion\u00e1rios, com sal\u00e1rios de R$ 2.429,26 a R$ 6.872,48. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A estatal informou que as provas n\u00e3o ser\u00e3o canceladas. Mesmo que o teto de gastos seja mantido, ainda haver\u00e1 um preju\u00edzo de ao menos R$ 1,7 bilh\u00e3o. A empresa diz esperar evitar a \u201cinsolv\u00eancia\u201d, ou seja, o risco de quebrar e precisar ser resgatada pelo Tesouro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
