medial, regi\u00e3o associada ao controle do humor.<br>\u2705 Os cientistas observaram que, em camundongos submetidos a estresse prolongado, houve queda na atividade da enzima <em>St3gal1<\/em>, respons\u00e1vel pela etapa final da O-glicosila\u00e7\u00e3o \u2014 uma forma espec\u00edfica de \u201crevestimento de a\u00e7\u00facar\u201d que regula a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o entre neur\u00f4nios.<br>\u2705 Quando a <em>St3gal1<\/em> foi eliminada, os animais desenvolveram comportamentos depressivos e perda de motiva\u00e7\u00e3o.<br>\u2705 J\u00e1 o aumento da enzima em
