No \u00faltimo dia 6, os cientistas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/antiquity\/article\/conceptual-origins-and-geomorphic-evolution-of-the-temple-of-amunra-at-karnak-luxor-egypt\/12B8A406D84C46F89CDDD7A3DCDF297D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publicaram<\/a> um estudo que encerra o debate sobre a idade do maior complexo de templos da antiguidade. Por meio de an\u00e1lises de fragmentos de cer\u00e2mica e amostras de sedimentos, o estudo indica que a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de Karnak come\u00e7ou durante o Imp\u00e9rio Antigo, per\u00edodo eg\u00edpcio que come\u00e7ou no ano 2.591 a.C.<br>Antes de 2.520 a.C., o local <a href=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.uol.com.br\/escavacao-no-egito-encontra-tres-tumulos-da-era-do-novo-imperio\/\">pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 cidade de Luxor<\/a>, onde fica o templo, n\u00e3o tinha ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o humana devido a inunda\u00e7\u00f5es do Nilo. Os cientistas identificaram que os fragmentos de cer\u00e2mica mais antigos s\u00e3o do ano 2.305 a.C. Ali\u00e1s, o uso do templo por mais de tr\u00eas mil anos tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 uma consequ\u00eancia direta da geografia. Por isso, os arque\u00f3logos focaram na rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre os templos do complexo e o Nilo. Contudo, n\u00facleos de sedimentos antigos revelam que a regi\u00e3o era muito diferente h\u00e1 milhares de anos.
