A publica\u00e7\u00e3o de Miller ocorre dias ap\u00f3s manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas no Brasil sob o lema \u201cAcorda, Brasil\u201d, em meio a cr\u00edticas ao Judici\u00e1rio e a decis\u00f5es da Corte. O texto afirma que \u201calguns dos ju\u00edzes mais poderosos do mundo t\u00eam uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o excessivamente pr\u00f3xima com a elite empresarial e pol\u00edtica\u201d e sustenta que, apesar de defender a democracia, o tribunal tem adotado postura considerada mais intransigente diante de cr\u00edticas.<br>Logo no in\u00edcio, a revista menciona o Banco Master e seu propriet\u00e1rio, Daniel Vorcaro. O caso ampliou o debate sobre \u00e9tica na Corte ap\u00f3s revela\u00e7\u00f5es sobre rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre o banqueiro e o antigo relator de processos envolvendo a institui\u00e7\u00e3o. Segundo o ve\u00edculo, surgiram provas de que a esposa do ministro, advogada, teria recebido um contrato \u201cincomumente vago e lucrativo\u201d para representar o Banco Master. Ainda conforme a revista, antes da nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de Moraes ao STF, o escrit\u00f3rio de advocacia de sua esposa tinha 27 casos perante o STF e o STJ. Hoje, segundo o texto, seriam 152.<br>A publica\u00e7\u00e3o acrescenta que, ap\u00f3s o surgimento das informa\u00e7\u00f5es, Moraes teria determinado investiga\u00e7\u00e3o contra servidores da Receita Federal por suposto vazamento de dados confidenciais.
