A iniciativa, que contar\u00e1 com investimento de cerca de R$ 1 bilh\u00e3o, ser\u00e1 executada em etapas at\u00e9 2031. O novo sistema utiliza tecnologia avan\u00e7ada para transmiss\u00e3o e monitoramento de dados em tempo real, permitindo maior controle das opera\u00e7\u00f5es ferrovi\u00e1rias, acionamento autom\u00e1tico em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de risco e redu\u00e7\u00e3o de eventos operacionais cr\u00edticos.<br>De acordo com a mineradora, o projeto ser\u00e1 integrado aos equipamentos embarcados e \u00e0 infraestrutura atualmente utilizada nas Estradas de Ferro Caraj\u00e1s e Vit\u00f3ria a Minas. A Vale ressalta que as duas ferrovias j\u00e1 figuram entre as mais seguras do pa\u00eds, conforme crit\u00e9rios da Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT), al\u00e9m de serem as \u00fanicas linhas ferrovi\u00e1rias brasileiras que operam regularmente o transporte de passageiros. Segundo o vice-presidente de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es da companhia, Carlos Medeiros, o investimento fortalece a estrat\u00e9gia da empresa de ampliar a seguran\u00e7a operacional por meio da inova\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">O fortalecimento cont\u00ednuo da nossa cultura de seguran\u00e7a e excel\u00eancia operacional \u00e9 um dos pilares da estrat\u00e9gia de futuro da Vale.
