A Massa de ar frio que atinge, desde o dia 18, a Am\u00e9rica do Sul baixou significativamente a temperatura em diversas \u00e1reas do Brasil a ponto de fazer nevar em v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas das serras ga\u00facha e catarinense. Segundo a meteorologia, os term\u00f4metros registraram temperatura negativa, neve e chuva congelada em v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas dos dois estados.
Tendo por base dados do o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) e de alguns aeroportos do pa\u00eds, o Climatempo, site especializado em meteorologia, informou que em Bom Jardim da Serra (SC) a temperatura ficou em -8\u00b0C hoje (21), por volta das 5 horas. Ficou tamb\u00e9m negativa nas cidades catarinenses de S\u00e3o Joaquim (-4\u00b0C) e Lages (-1\u00b0C). Em S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Ausentes e Quara\u00ed (RS) os term\u00f4metros marcaram -4\u00b0C, e em Vacaria (RS), -3\u00b0C. No sul do Paran\u00e1, em Dom Pedrito (RS) e em Xanxer\u00ea (SC) foi registrado O\u00b0C.
Com isso, \u201cv\u00e1rias \u00e1reas das serras ga\u00facha e catarinense registraram neve e chuva congelada na tarde e noite desta quinta-feira, 20 de agosto\u201d, informou o Climatempo. De acordo com o site, esses fen\u00f4menos ocorreram em S\u00e3o Francisco de Paula (RS), S\u00e3o Joaquim (SC), Nova Petr\u00f3polis (RS), Gramado (RS), S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Ausentes (RS) e Cambar\u00e1 do Sul (RS), Canela (RS).
\u201cAs condi\u00e7\u00f5es para nevar no Sul do Brasil s\u00e3o ainda maiores nesta sexta-feira, 21 de agosto, e algumas \u00e1reas ter\u00e3o geada. A grande e forte massa de ar frio de origem polar que chegou ao Sul do Brasil, e permitiu a ocorr\u00eancia de neve, vai atuar com mais for\u00e7a ainda nesta sexta-feira\u201d, acrescenta.
H\u00e1 previs\u00e3o de neve e outros tipos de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o de inverno para hoje na serra do Rio Grande do Sul, na serra e nos planaltos sul e norte de Santa Catarina e no sul do Paran\u00e1. Em todas estas \u00e1reas, o c\u00e9u fica nublado e faz muito frio o dia todo.
Imagens de sat\u00e9lites mostram nebulosidade sobre o Sul do Brasil que podem resultar em grande quantidade de nuvens e condi\u00e7\u00f5es para chuva no centro-norte e leste do Paran\u00e1 e no nordeste e leste de Santa Catarina, informa o Climatempo.
\u201cAo contr\u00e1rio da neve, a geada \u00e9 um fen\u00f4meno que ocorre quando o c\u00e9u est\u00e1 com pouca ou nenhuma nebulosidade e faz bastante frio. Quase todo o Rio Grande do Sul e o oeste de Santa Catarina j\u00e1 estavam praticamente sem nuvens. S\u00e3o nestas \u00e1reas que a geada se forma j\u00e1 na madrugada e ao amanhecer desta sexta-feira, 21.
