Yarang Mamin \u00e9 o 3\u00ba filme do cineasta ind\u00edgena Kamatxi Ikpeng, e um mergulho no dia a dia das mulheres do povo Ikpeng que coletam sementes nativas no Territ\u00f3rio Ind\u00edgena do Xingu (MT).
Yarang \u00e9 o nome de uma formiga cortadeira, que tamb\u00e9m nomeia um grupo de mulheres bastante unido. Na \u00faltima d\u00e9cada o movimento coletou 3,2 toneladas de sementes florestais.
O Movimento das Mulheres Yarang surgiu h\u00e1 10 anos e j\u00e1 ajudou a plantar cerca de um milh\u00e3o de \u00e1rvores. Elas fazem parte dos Ikpeng, um povo ind\u00edgena n\u00f4made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A produ\u00e7\u00e3o foi uma parceria com a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Rede de Sementes do Xingu e a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Ind\u00edgena Moygu Comunidade Ikpeng e a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 do Instituto Socioambiental em parceria com o Instituto Catitu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com imagens do dia a dia do trabalho do Movimento das Mulheres Yarang, o m\u00e9dia-metragem apresenta os desejos e conquistas do grupo, que j\u00e1 ajudou a plantar cerca de um milh\u00e3o de \u00e1rvores que formar\u00e3o as florestas do futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
