Registro vencedor do concurso Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020 levou 11 meses para ser feito por fot\u00f3grafo russo<\/em><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

O registro de um tigre \u201cmarcando\u201d uma \u00e1rvore com seu cheiro foi o grande vencedor do concurso Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020, promovido pelo Museu de Hist\u00f3ria Natural de Londres, na Inglaterra. O resultado da 56\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o, divulgado nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (13), traz os ganhadores de um dos mais prestigiados pr\u00eamios entre os fot\u00f3grafos que trabalham com registros da natureza.
No in\u00edcio de setembro, o Museu havia divulgado 10 dos melhores registros selvagens dentre os 49 mil inscritos. O t\u00edtulo de melhor foto, por\u00e9m, ficou com o russo Sergey Gorshkov.
A imagem, intitulada The Embrace (\u201cO Abra\u00e7o\u201d, em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o livre), mostra o momento em que um tigre siberiano, amea\u00e7ado de extin\u00e7\u00e3o, abra\u00e7a um pinheiro na regi\u00e3o da Manch\u00faria, na China, para marc\u00e1-lo com seu cheiro. O autor levou mais de 11 meses para captar o momento, usando c\u00e2meras com sensores de movimento.
\u201c\u00c9 uma cena como nenhuma outra, um vislumbre \u00fanico de um momento \u00edntimo nas profundezas de uma floresta m\u00e1gica\u201d, comentou Roz Kidman Cox, presidente do painel de jurados, em nota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCa\u00e7ada \u00e0 beira da extin\u00e7\u00e3o no s\u00e9culo passado, a popula\u00e7\u00e3o desses tigres ainda est\u00e1 amea\u00e7ada\u201d, disse Tim Littlewood, diretor executivo de ci\u00eancia do Museu e membro do j\u00fari. \u201c’A vis\u00e3o not\u00e1vel do tigre em seu ambiente natural nos oferece esperan\u00e7a, pois relat\u00f3rios recentes sugerem que os n\u00fameros de indiv\u00edduos est\u00e3o crescendo\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Nascido em uma aldeia da Sib\u00e9ria, Sergey cresceu imerso na natureza da R\u00fassia. Depois de uma viagem \u00e0 \u00c1frica, ele tem se dedicado a tirar fotos de animais para conectar o mundo \u00e0 vida selvagem. Seu trabalho \u00e9 especializado nas regi\u00f5es polares da R\u00fassia, fotografando ursos, raposas e gansos.
